Somatic Parts Work

Somatic Parts Work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles with body-centered awareness to heal trauma and inner conflict through direct connection with the body. This approach recognizes that we’re made up of many “parts” — sub-personalities that hold memories, emotions, and protective roles. When these parts are at odds, we may feel stuck, tense, or disconnected.

By working with a combination of physical sensations, body mapping, visualization, breath, and open curious presence, Somatic Parts Work helps you meet each part — the critic, the protector, the inner child — with curiosity and compassion. As these parts are heard and integrated, the body relaxes, the mind settles, and a greater sense of harmony and Self-leadership emerges.
