Individual Therapy

Deciding to seek therapy is a significant step toward improving mental health, personal growth, and overall well-being. While many people associate therapy primarily with managing anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, it can also be a transformative experience for anyone seeking self-discovery, growth, and greater life satisfaction.

Therapy provides opportunities to build emotional resilience, improve relationships, navigate life transitions, clarify goals, and explore identity and personal values. In a collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach, clients receive individualized support that honors their unique experiences, strengths, and aspirations.

In addition to traditional therapy, clients can engage in relational and group work that reinforces skills, supports recovery, and deepens understanding of self and relationships. These sessions combine evidence-based modalities with gender-affirming, anti-oppressive care designed to foster holistic well-being.

Therapeutic approaches include:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

  • DBT Prolonged Exposure for trauma (DBT-PE)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I)

Through this work, clients are empowered to reduce symptoms, strengthen coping skills, deepen self-awareness, and create the life they want to live. Consultation sessions provide an opportunity to explore needs, discuss goals, and co-create a plan for meaningful progress.
